Dawn Disher
(Park Ridge)
Dawn Disher served one term as Alderman for the City of Park Ridge in
2001-2004. She served on the Finance and Budget, Procedures and
Regulations and Public Safety Committees as well as served as the
liaison to the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission and the Economic
Development Corporation.
Dawn was a fellow of the Class of 2004 in the Illinois Lincoln
Excellence in Public Service Series and was elected President of her
class. She has served on the Board as a Governor and Treasurer and
was appointed to the position of Executive Director of the program
in 2007.
After receiving a Marketing degree from Indiana University, Dawn worked
for Arthur Andersen, Options Clearing Corporation and Comdisco in the
information technology field. She is currently a homemaker. Dawn has
been very active in her community. She served as a Girl Scout leader
for over ten years and is currently managing the organization for the
Park Ridge community. She has chaired projects for the American Red
Cross, The Youth Campus and served as president of the Park Ridge
Community Women, a local philanthropic and social organization.
Dawn has been married for twenty-two years and has three children.
