Katherine Coyle (Peoria)
       Class of 2007

Katherine Coyle is a part time political science instructor and Field Director for Congressman elect Aaron Schock.  Coyle and her husband Peter reside in Peoria with their two daughters.  When not working, Coyle serves as Precinct Committeeman and volunteers at her daughter's school. She is also active in the Peoria County Republican Women, Heart of Illinois American Society for Public Administration and Central Illinois Alzheimer's Association. Coyle credits her year as a Lincoln fellow as the preparation she needed to pursue new leadership opportunities. Since completion of her Lincoln Series fellowship in 2007, Coyle's political involvement has increased significantly with her serving as Field Director for Aaron Schock's congressional campaign, her bid to be a delegate to the 2008 Republican Convention and the decision to launch her campaign for Illinois Central College Board of Trustees.
