Christine T. Dudley (Chicago)
President Emeritus

Christine Dudley has
twenty-seven years of professional political and public affairs experience.
After serving as the Midwest Regional
Political Director for the
Republican National Committee from 1999-2002, she launched her own
consulting business. From
1993-1999, she served as Executive
Director for the Illinois Republican
Party. She has worked as a
campaign manager for races in
Indiana,
Iowa and
Connecticut.
In the first Bush Administration,
she served in the Office of
Congressional and Intergovernmental
Affairs as Special Assistant to Secretary of Labor
Lynn Martin.
Dudley has advised clients including the
National Republican Congressional
Committee, U.S. Chamber of Commerce,
Republican Governors Association, the Office of State Treasurer Judy Baar
Topinka, The WISH List (Women in the Senate and House), Citizens for Karen
McConnaughay, The International Republican Institute, The U.S. State Department,
Takeda North America, Ford Motor Company, and The Martin-Hall Group.
In 2004, she oversaw all the
Illinois Delegation activities at
the Republican National Convention in
New York City.
As a consultant to Wilhelm &
Conlon she assisted in the development of the 1999
Women in Business, Politics and Power
Symposium, a one-day event geared toward enhancing corporate women’s
influence and effectiveness in leadership roles in the policy and political
arenas.
Dudley has served as the moderator and as a panelist for
League of Women Voters annual
Status of Women in Illinois
Politics. From 2001-2004
she was President of the
Illinois Lincoln Excellence in Public
Service Series, dedicated to preparing women to run for public office or
seek public policy positions in local, state and federal government.
She remains a senior advisor to this
leadership organization which has mentored and trained over 160 women in the
past decade.
She is frequently called to provide
commentary on local and national political issues by print and broadcast
reporters and has appeared as guest on several media shows, including the
nationally syndicated radio show “Beyond
the Beltway” and Chicago
public television’s (WTTW) public
affairs show “Chicago
Tonight”. Chris has served as a
guest lecturer at various academic institutions on the subject of politics and
public affairs. Dudley has served on the
boards of the Shattered Globe Theatre,
The Government Assistance Program (GAP)
and as a gubernatorial appointee of The Illinois
Arts Council. In addition, she
is currently on the board of Chicago
Women in Government Relations and she was appointed to her second 4-year
term as 5th Congressional District
Deputy State Central Committee Member
on the Illinois
Republican State Central Committee in 2004.
