Janet M. Hood,
Normal,
is an Executive Assistant in the Planning & System Services
Division for BroMenn Healthcare System, a not-for-profit
healthcare organization headquartered in Normal, Illinois. She
has more than 30 years’ experience in the areas of healthcare,
clinical research management, government/regulatory affairs,
property and project management.
Janet is President of the McLean County Republican Women, past
president of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Women’s
Division and the Vladimir-Canterbury Sister City Association of
Bloomington/Normal. She currently serves on the Town of Normal
Zoning Board of Appeals, has served on McLean County Chamber of
Commerce and Prairie Aviation Museum Board of Directors; is a
member of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce Government
Affairs Committee, League of Women Voters, and a graduate of
Leadership Illinois.
Janet represents her community by her involvement in the McLean
County Unit #5 School District Citizens Advisory Council,
Heartland Community College Business Essentials program, Town of
Normal Civic Academy, YWCA Women of Distinction and McLean
County Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division ATHENA Award®
Steering Committees. She is a recipient of the YWCA Woman of
Distinction Award in the field of Volunteer Services and an
ATHENA Award® recipient.
