Jean Smuda

Jean K. Smuda, Lake Villa, is currently working as a Legislative Aide for State Representative Ed Sullivan of Mundelein, Legislative District 51.  Prior to working for Representative Sullivan, she worked as a Legislative Aide (2003-07) for retired State Representative Robert W. Churchill of Grayslake, District 62.

Jean is the Vice President of the Lake Villa Township Republican Club, Secretary Lake Villa Township Republican Club Committeemen, Outreach Vice Chair for the Lake County Central Committee, Lake Villa Township Republican Precinct Committeemen.  Her volunteer activities further extend to serving as the Co-Chair American Cancer Society Grayslake Relay for Life, Chairmen of the Lake Villa Township Republican Club 5K, Co-Chair Lake Villa Republican Club Scholarship Committee.  Her campaign experience includes working for State Representative Ed Sullivan, retired State Representative Robert W. Church, Churchill for Secretary of State, Churchill for Congress, Suzanne Simpson for Senate District 31, Lindenhurst Choice Party, Municipal election 2007.

Jean’s most outstanding achievements are her two daughters Christie, who is a senior at the University of Illinois, Chicago and Stephanie, who is a sophomore at the College of Lake County.  Watching them grow into two outstanding young ladies is the most amazing part of being a Mother.
