Ann Wasman Ann
retired from Rep. Tom Cross’ office to spend her time
commuting between a recently-purchased home in Florida
and her Yorkville residence with her best friend (and
golfmate), husband Ben. This is her second
retirement following 31 years in education, with
library-oriented writing and public relations on the
side. Her political activities now involve helping
local candidates when possible and fuming about the
state of politics at the state and national levels.
She’s thinking about becoming more involved in local
politics in Florida. “I may just need a change of
scenery,” she muses.
