Laura Kotelman

Laura Kotelman  grew up in Lake County and lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Lake Forest College where she was the College Republicans chapter president for two terms. After a year with the Illinois State Senate Republican staff, she attended the University of Illinois College of Law where she was elected to the University Senate. After law school, Laura worked for the Illinois Attorney General in policy and program development and went on to represent more than 1,000 insurance companies as senior counsel and regional government affairs manager at a major insurance trade association for more than five years. Laura currently is a business development manager at a global law firm.

Laura serves on the executive committee of Central Lakeview Neighbors and on the Board of the Chicago Lawyers Chapter and the Financial Services Practice Group of the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies. Follow her on Twitter @Laura_Chicago.
