Kay Hatcher is part of the Lincoln Series leadership team, and is a candidate for State Representative in the 50th District, currently held by Patricia Reid Lindner.  State Representative Lindner  has served honorably since 1992, and has not filed for re-election.  Hatcher's candidacy information can be accessed at www.KHatcher.com.

Hatcher represents Senior Services Associates as Marketing Director, providing information on programs and services for both active and frail seniors to community and legislative leaders in Kane, Kendall and McHenry County.

Hatcher brings a significant background in corporate and political communications to the position. A former telecommunications executive and lobbyist, industry recognitions include Governor of the Illinois Lincoln Series, YWCA Woman of Distinction, Outstanding Illinois Woman in Government, Business Journal LUCI, Business Ledger Influential Woman in Business, Outstanding United Way Board Volunteer, Illinois Crime Stoppers Volunteer Contributor of the Year and service on the Entrepreneurial Committee of the Governor’s Commission on the Status of Women in Illinois. She received the 2006 State of Illinois Women’s Empowerment Woman to Woman Award.

A Kendall County Board member and Forest Preserve president, Hatcher served as state president of the Illinois Federation of Republican Women and is a 1999 Lincoln Fellow.
