Excellence Series Program
The Series program starts in January of each year and
concludes in September.
Programs include:
Seminar with the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and staff of
the Illinois Republican Party.
Seminars on ethics, etiquette, effective
speaking, organizing a winning campaign, and
fundraising.
Two days in Springfield meeting with legislators,
constitutional officers, and lobbyists. The group meets
with the Republican leadership in the General Assembly.
Three days in Washington, D.C., which includes
meetings at the Republican National Committee
headquarters with the RNC Chairman and Co-chairman,
breakfast with the Illinois Republican delegation, a
morning with Republican women members of Congress, a
seminar with "think tank" representatives and meetings
with national pollsters and media consultants. The group
has also visited the National Federation of Republican
Women's headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.
