Chris Dudley named
National Coordinator for the
Excellence in Public Service Series
Letter from Judy Singleton:
I
am excited to tell all of you that
Chris Dudley of the
Illinois Lincoln Series
has agreed to be the new
national coordinator for the Excellence in Public
Service Series. Chris has been a champion of the program from
day one, and she is perhaps the person most responsible for the
national expansion efforts starting back in 2000. As a Regional
Political Director at the Republican Nat'l Committee then, Chris
pushed through the idea that the RNC should support the national
expansion of the Series with money and woman power. It was only
after that and working with the RNC, that we were able to create
15 of the 20 programs we grew to. So THANK YOU CHRIS!!!!
Chris is currently a political consultant working from
Chicago. She has served the Lincoln Series as a board member,
board president, and coordinator for their DC trips for years.
We are fortunate she is willing to take on the leadership
responsibilities of our national coalition in this time of
transition. I have enjoyed immensely my work with EIPSS for the
past 20 years. I am grateful I can take leave of my labor of
love knowing Chris will guide the organization into the next 20
years.

"Illinois Leaders in the Republican Party must find a way to
rejuvenate interest among the disillusioned, disenfranchised, women,
minorities and young people who have chosen not to participate in
the electoral process. We have got to appeal to more citizens to
exercise their responsibility as informed citizens to participate in
the democratic process. The future of the Republican Party depends
on it."
